Method of Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards only. We do not accept cash, personal or certified checks, money orders, or CODs, or other credit cards. All prices are in U.S. currency.
Privacy Policy
Sparrow's Tail, LLC is very concerned about the privacy of our users. Sparrow's Tail, LLC will never sell, rent, disclose or provide anyone with your information, except as required by law. We collect information required to process orders placed by customers. We may use your information for our promotional mailings only. At any time you may opt out of these mailings by contacting us.
Opt-out choice
You will always have a choice to opt-out of any mailings we do for promotional purposes. Please follow the opt-out instructions that we provide with every email we send. You can also contact us directly at any time.
Statistical Data Collection
The shopping cart software we have chosen collects data anonymously about the use of the cart for statistical purposes. For example, the number of times an item or a page is viewed is tracked. This data collection does not contain personal information.
Cookies
The shopping cart software we have chosen uses cookies to collect the anonymous data. The software uses temporary cookies to collect the first level domain name of the user. For example, if your email address is “name@example.com”, the cookie collects the “example.com” portion of the address. The data and time you access the site is also saved in a cookie. Having cookies saved by your browser is a setting in your browser that you can change such that your browser could notify you when you receive a cookie.
Return and Exchange Policy
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. All returns or exchanges must be made within 30 days, and all items must include the order number. Underwear is non-returnable. Washed, used, stained, or scented items cannot be accepted for exchanges or refunds. The original tag must be still attached. Sale items will be refunded for the amount of purchase, not for the original (non-sale) price. Special orders can be exchanged for store credit only. Shipping fees are non-refundable. We will gladly pay the shipping fees to send new items to you for exchanged items.
To exchange an item, please contact us first to receive approval. You are responsible for shipping the item back to us. We recommend that you track the item. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items when returning an item.
Cancelling Orders
Once orders are shipped, the order cannot be cancelled. If you still desire to cancel your order after shipment, then return the items following our return/exchange policy.
Security
We believe in providing customers with a secure site for ordering. We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol to protect the information you provide during your order. An added layer of security is provided by Authorize .Net for processing your credit card information.
Sizing Information
Most items offer a link to the sizing information. If an item has no sizing information, please contact us if you need more information.
Shipping Policy
Free shipping is available for WA state customers! Also, if you are interested in picking up your purchase in the Seattle area, please let us know when you are placing your order. There is a special space for delivery notes on the payment form.

The accompanying table shows our shipping rates for all other states in the Continental US. They are subject to change at any time. The shipping rates are for Continental US delivery only. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, APOs/FPOs will be shipped separately and require additional charges (please contact us for additional information). At this time we do not ship to international addresses.
Orders are generally shipped via priority mail. Please allow for delivery time to your destination. Orders will be processed and shipped in a timely manner.
Because of our concern about wastefulness, we will ship your items with the least amount of material as possible.
Sales Tax
All items with a destination to Washington state are subject to sales tax at the appropriate state and local rate.
Special Orders
Special orders are available. Fifty percent of the purchase price is due at the time of order, and the remaining is due upon receipt. Delivery time depends on the vendor. Please contact us for special orders.
Sale Policy
If you find that one of our clothing manufacturers sells an identical item at a lower price, we will match their sale price. This offer does not extend to sales by other web stores or brick-and-mortar stores — only to the online stores of our vendors.
Wash Instructions
To test our offerings, we wash a sample garment in a front-load washing machine using gentle soap (Seventh Generation) and cold water. We also use a low drying temperature for all items. Occasionally the clothing will shrink slightly. The hemp items feel like linen initially but will become softer with more washes. If you have any concerns, please contact us.
Pictures
Some items are specially dyed and may vary slightly from the photos provided. We strive to supply the most accurate images of our items.
